The Whaler on Ka'anapali Beach

The Whaler is a luxury condominium resort located directly on the white sands of Kaanapali Beach. The twin towers rest on 6.67 acres, and contain a total of 360 units. PACTAB was involved with Critchfield Pacific, Inc. in the complete renewal of the Central Plant and Chilled water system for both towers.

 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu sits on a picture-perfect stretch of beach on the Big Island's chic Kona Coast. The property already boasted a private Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and Pahu'ia, an award-winning oceanfront restaurant, but it recently upped the luxury ante with $40 million worth of enhancements, adding 20 new suites and expanding its lauded Hualalai Spa. PACTAB worked in conjuction with Critchfield Pacific, Inc. in the renewal of the resorts central plant including hydronic balance of the chillers, pumps, cooling tower and heat exchangers.

Services Performed: Air and Hydronic Balancing of the Exhaust Ventilation Fans, Pumps and Chillers.

 

The Westin Ka’anapali

The Westin Ka’anapali is set along a pristine expanse of Ka'anapali’s North Beach (ranked #1 on “America's Best Beaches” list for 2003). Newly opened ‘in September of 2003, “The Villas” are Hawaii vacation homes of extraordinary comfort… masterfully designed, richly furnished, and impeccably finished. PACTAB was involved, working directly with both Critchfield Pacific, Inc. and Design Engineer firm CB Engineers to complete the replacement and reintegration of the central plant and cogen system. Pumps, Chillers, Cooling towers, pool spa and domestic water heat exchangers.

 

Koa Kea Hotel and Resort Air Balance

The Koa Kea is one of Kauai’s oldest hotels and this multimillion dollar renovation has repositioned the property as a boutique hotel with a new pool area, spa, beach bar, refurbished guestrooms and brand-new suites.” This Hotel & Resort project reopened in April of 2009, and we are proud to have been apart of the reconstruction of Kauai’s beautiful Poipu’s coastline to bring it back to it’s pre-1992 state.

Services Performed: Air Balance, Kitchen Exhaust Fans, Make-Up Air Fan, Kitchen Hoods, Heat Pumps, Condenser Water Loop, and Cooling Towers.
